We are BoyChildAfrika, a grassroots empowerment initiative born out of passion, purpose, and an urgent need to uplift young men and boys who are often left behind. Founded in 2023 at Egerton University by Charles Saningo, our mission began as a student-led movement to challenge silence, champion emotional strength, and create spaces where boys could thrive—not just survive.
Since then, we've grown into a community-driven organization committed to restoring balance in gender empowerment by empowering boys to become responsible leaders, supportive partners, and present fathers.
Whether through mentorship, skill development, emotional support, or storytelling, we walk beside the boy child—step by step—toward a stronger, more inclusive society.
To empower boys and young men through education, emotional support, and life-transforming oppportunities - unlocking their potential become confident, responsible, and purpose-driven contributors in their communities.
A future where every African boy is seen, valued, and equipped - free from the pressure of silence, the burden of unrealistic expectations, or the weight of invisibility. We envision a continent where boys grow into whole men, committed to equity, peace, and positive change.
For too long, the challenges boys face - emotional isolation, absentee fathers, stigma around vulnerability - have been dismissed. We're here to change that.
Because, when boys feel safe, valued, and equipped, they:
We believe the when you empower the boy, you transform the man. And when men lead with emotional strength and purpose, everyone wins.
We call on:
